At Stonegate Private Counsel, we take great pride in our commitment to helping the communities where our clients, families and friends live and work. While our Managing Directors and Principals take part in the charitable efforts of various organizations, Stonegate Private Counsel has endeavoured to channel its collective resolve to philanthropic programs with a mission to strengthen our local communities.

What we are doing

We believe that community participation extends beyond just writing a cheque. As the title sponsor of The Stop’s signature fundraising initiative, What’s on the Table, we are actively involved in the success of this celebrated gala fundraiser, which in 2009 raised over $290,000. In addition to event sponsorship and participation at What’s on the Table, Stonegate makes an additional annual contribution to The Stop, and coordinates internal fundraising events with numerous volunteer hours donated by Stonegate employees. The Stop Community Food Centre

The Stop Community Food Centre (The Stop) in Toronto exemplifies one such organization. The Stop has been on the frontlines of tackling hunger and poverty for over 30 years. Its mission is to increase access to healthy food in a manner that maintains dignity, builds community and challenges inequality.
