Prior to joining Stonegate, Dan Finegan was one of the founders of a large North American wealth management company. In his practice, Dan works with professionals and business owners in and around the Toronto area.

Dan holds both the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Registered Financial Planner (R.F.P.) designations. He also holds a B.Sc. from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, where he attended on a hockey scholarship. He played professional hockey in Vienna, Austria in 1971 and 1972, before returning to Toronto to begin his investment career.

Dan is a member of St. George's Golf and Country Club in Toronto and Oviinbyrd in Muskoka, Ontario.
