As Managing Director of Stonegate Private Counsel in Halifax, Roger brings a wealth of experience to address the complex financial affairs of wealthy families and individuals.

With his professional background as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Life Underwriter, Roger has specialized expertise in personal and corporate tax planning, investment consulting, life and disability insurance analysis, estate planning, business valuations, succession planning and negotiation in business purchase and sale.

Roger was Vice President of a full service wealth management firm in Halifax for eight years. Prior to that, he worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate in the Financial Advisory Services Group, Halifax. His primary areas of practice were corporate valuations and dispute analysis and investigation.

Roger earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds the CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation.
