Tom brings over 25 years of experience as a financial professional to the roles of Principal and Portfolio Manager of Stonegate Private Counsel LP. His specialized training and expertise in the fields of financial management and investment management uniquely positions him to understand the needs of individuals seeking advice from both a business and personal perspective. 

Tom helps his clients achieve their financial goals with confidence by understanding their personal life goals, providing investment management and wealth management solutions, and by coordinating a team of specialists to deal with client specific needs through integrated strategies.

Prior to joining Stonegate, Tom was a Senior Financial Advisor with a full service wealth management firm. He also held roles of increasing responsibility within the accounting profession, including Senior Manager of  Corporate Finance for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University, is a Chartered Accountant, and a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
